Enfold Terms of Service
Version 1.0. Effective October 9, 2026.
These terms are an agreement between you and Fork Labs Inc., PO Box 20067, New York, NY 10014 ("Enfold", "we", "us"). They cover the Enfold app at mail.tryenfold.com and our website at https://www.tryenfold.com. By using Enfold, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Arbitration notice. Section 12 contains an arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver. Unless you opt out within 30 days, as section 12 explains, you and we resolve disputes in individual arbitration, not in court, and neither of us can bring a class action.
1. Who can use Enfold
- You must be 18 or older.
- You must live in the United States. Enfold is offered only in the United States.
- You must use your own Google account, or one you are allowed to connect.
- You are not on a US sanctions list, and you will not use Enfold where US law forbids it.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google. You connect your Google account to Enfold, for Gmail and Google Calendar, by allowing the permissions Google shows you. Keep your Google account secure: anyone who can sign in to it can use your Enfold account. Tell us at support@tryenfold.com if you think someone used your account without permission.
Google is not a party to these terms. Your use of Gmail and Google Calendar stays under Google's own terms.
You agree to get notices and receipts by email and in Enfold.
3. Your content, and Enfold
Your mail, drafts, calendar events, and files are yours. You give us permission to copy, store, process, and send them only as needed to run Enfold for you: to show your mail, search it, sort it, run the AI features, and do what you choose to do in Enfold, as the privacy policy describes. This permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except as the privacy policy states (news editions, backups).
We do not use your content for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Enfold is ours. Fork Labs Inc. owns Enfold, including its software, design, and name. While your account is open and you follow these terms, we give you a personal right to use Enfold, which you cannot transfer. We keep all other rights.
Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions about Enfold, we can use them for any purpose without paying you or owing you anything.
4. What Enfold does in your Gmail and Calendar
Enfold acts in your Gmail and Calendar only when you choose to in Enfold. It archives, stars, marks read or unread, reports spam, moves to trash, sends, and adds or changes events when you choose to in Enfold. Opening an email marks it read. Sent mail and calendar invites go out under your name. You are responsible for what you send.
5. AI features
Enfold uses AI to sort mail, find orders and events, set newsletters into an edition, power search, and review drafts. AI can be wrong. A category, order, event, date, or link that Enfold shows can be wrong or missing, and an email can be written to mislead an AI. Check anything important against the email itself, and review every draft before you send it. AI output is not legal, medical, or financial advice.
Usage limits. A plan can limit how much you use the AI features. If you reach a limit, those features may slow or stop until your next monthly period. The billing page shows any limits.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use Enfold to:
- break the law, or help someone else break it
- send spam, phishing, or malware
- access an account or data that is not yours
- probe, scan, or test Enfold's security without our written permission
- overload or disrupt Enfold, or get around its limits
- copy, resell, or reverse engineer Enfold, except where the law allows it.
7. Paid plans
- Price. Enfold costs a monthly fee, shown in Enfold before you add a card or subscribe, plus sales tax where it applies.
- Offers. We may offer free or discounted plans. Their terms show in Enfold.
- Free trial. New accounts may get a free trial. If you have one, the billing page shows when it ends. If no card is on file when it ends, your access pauses until you add a card and the first payment succeeds.
- Renewal. With a card on file, your plan renews every month and Stripe charges your card at the start of each monthly period until you cancel.
- Cancel. Cancel at any time in Stripe's billing portal, which you open from the billing page in Enfold. Your plan then ends at the end of the period you paid for, and you keep access until then. A free trial with no card on file needs no cancel: it pauses at its end and never charges you.
- Refunds. We do not refund part of a month, except when we end your account for another reason under section 8, or under the next item. Deleting your account ends your plan at once, without a refund. We refund any charge we made in error.
- Payment methods or billing addresses outside the United States. If your card or payment method is from outside the United States, or your billing address is outside the United States, Enfold is not available to you. When Enfold finds such a payment method or address (when you add it, or at the latest at your next renewal), we cancel your plan and your access ends at once. If the plan was active or past due, we refund the payments on its latest invoice. We do not refund earlier invoices.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, including the first payment after a free trial and a monthly renewal, Stripe tries again for up to 7 days, and you keep access for up to 8 days after the date the payment was due. If it still fails, your plan ends. If you add a card to restart a paused plan and the charge fails, the plan stays paused and you have no access until a payment succeeds.
- Price changes. We will email you 30 days before a price change takes effect. A price increase applies to you only if you agree to it. If you have not agreed when it takes effect, your plan ends at the end of the period you paid for, and we never charge you the new price.
- Payments go through Stripe, under Stripe's terms. Stripe handles your card and billing. Enfold never receives your full card number. Of your payment details, Enfold uses only the country of your card or payment method and your billing country, to check that Enfold is available to you, and stores none of them.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time, as our help page explains.
We can suspend or end your account at once if you break these terms, or if we must to protect Enfold, other users, or Google's systems. When we can, we will tell you first and say why.
We can also end your account for any other reason. We will then email you at least 30 days before it ends, and refund the unused part of any period you paid for.
When an account ends, Enfold stops accessing your Gmail and Calendar, and we delete your data as the privacy policy states. Your mail stays in Gmail.
Sections 3, 10, 11, 12, and 13 still apply after your account ends.
9. Changes to Enfold and to these terms
Enfold will change over time. We can add, change, or remove features. Some features are marked beta or early access. They may be less reliable, and we can change or remove them at any time. The privacy policy still applies to them. We will email you at least 14 days before a material change to these terms takes effect. For a material change, we ask you to accept the new terms in Enfold before you continue.
10. Disclaimers
ENFOLD IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT ENFOLD WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR FREE.
Enfold is not a backup of your mail: your mail lives in Gmail.
11. Limits on liability, and claims about your use
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.
- Our total liability for any claim about Enfold is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.
These limits do not apply to gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, or anything the law does not let us limit.
If someone else makes a claim against Fork Labs Inc. because of mail or other content you send through Enfold, or because you broke these terms or the law, you will defend us against that claim and pay the losses and reasonable costs, including lawyers' fees, that result from it. This does not apply to the extent the claim is caused by our own fault. We will tell you about the claim promptly and let you control its defense, and we can take part with a lawyer of our own choice at our own cost.
12. Disputes and arbitration
Talk to us first. Before either of us files a claim, the one with the claim must send a notice (to us at legal@tryenfold.com or by mail to the address above, or to you at your account's email address) and give the other 60 days to try to resolve it. The notice gives the name and account email address of the person with the claim, describes the claim and what they ask for, and is signed by that person. A lawyer cannot send one notice for several people. If either of us asks, we meet by phone or video during those 60 days to try to settle the claim, and you take part yourself, with a lawyer if you like. Time limits to file a claim pause from the notice until those 60 days end.
Arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree to resolve any dispute about Enfold or these terms by binding arbitration, on an individual basis, instead of in court. National Arbitration and Mediation (NAM) runs the arbitration under its Comprehensive Dispute Resolution Rules and Procedures and, where they apply, its Mass Filing Supplemental Dispute Resolution Rules and Procedures. One arbitrator, not a judge or jury, decides the dispute, and can award the same individual relief a court could. A claim under $25,000 is decided on written submissions alone, unless the arbitrator decides a hearing is needed. A claim of $25,000 or more is heard by video, or in the county where you live if the arbitrator decides the hearing must be in person. Fees are paid as NAM's rules and fee schedules provide. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 12.
Batch arbitration. If 25 or more claims that raise similar issues are filed against us or by us within 90 days, with the help of the same or coordinated lawyers or organizations, NAM handles them in batches of up to 100 claims. Each batch has one arbitrator, one set of fees, and one hearing if a hearing is needed. The arbitrator still decides each claim on its own, and a batch is not a class arbitration.
No class actions. You and we bring claims only on an individual basis, never as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective, or representative action, and never in a class arbitration.
Public injunctive relief. A request for public injunctive relief goes only to the courts named below, and waits until the individual arbitration ends.
Small claims. Either of us can bring a claim in small claims court instead, if it qualifies.
Opting out. You can opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days after you first accept these terms. Email legal@tryenfold.com from your account's email address, or write to the address above, and say that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not change any other part of these terms.
Changes to this section. A change to this section 12 never applies to a dispute either of us gave notice of before the change.
Law and courts. New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. A dispute that is not subject to arbitration, for example because you opted out, goes to the state courts in Saratoga County, New York, or the federal court for the Northern District of New York, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction. If a court finds this arbitration agreement or the class-action waiver unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to those courts, and never to a class arbitration.
13. Other terms
- These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Enfold.
- If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
- If we do not enforce a part of these terms, we do not give up the right to enforce it later.
- You cannot transfer these terms to someone else. We can transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the company, subject to the privacy policy.
