Manage and delete your data
Version 1.0. Effective October 9, 2026.
Enfold keeps a copy of some of your Gmail data so it can show, search, and sort your mail. You can stop Enfold's access and delete that data at any time. Deleting Enfold's data never deletes your mail in Gmail.
Disconnect a Gmail
- In Enfold, press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux).
- Type "Disconnect".
- Choose "Disconnect you@gmail.com" for the Gmail you want to remove.
- Choose "Yes, disconnect".
Enfold stops using its Google access at once and revokes that access at Google, usually within an hour. Enfold shows that the Gmail is disconnecting, then that it is disconnected. A disconnect is also your request to delete Enfold's data for that Gmail.
If Google's revoke keeps failing, Enfold keeps trying for up to 72 hours, then deletes its access anyway and shows "Remove Enfold in your Google Account". Follow that link to finish the removal at Google.
Delete your Enfold account
- In Enfold, press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux).
- Type "Delete account".
- Choose "Delete account".
- Choose "Yes, delete".
If your plan ended and Enfold shows only the plan page, choose "Delete account" on that page, then "Yes, delete".
Enfold disconnects every Gmail, cancels your subscription, and deletes your sign-in. You are signed out, and the sign-in page says "Your account was deleted."
What happens to your data
Within 30 days of a disconnect or an account deletion, we delete everything Enfold holds for each Gmail you disconnected: message details, message bodies, search text and embeddings, attachments, categories, orders, events, news, and contacts. Leftover file copies in storage are gone within 10 days. Backups keep a copy for up to 7 more days, then expire.
We keep only records with no mail content: our billing records, and a record of each paid service call (date, feature, model, token or byte counts, duration, status, cost, and the provider's request ID) for up to 7 years, under your internal Enfold account ID. Our database holds no name, email address, or sign-in for that ID, but our billing records keep your Stripe customer ID, so the ID stays linked to Stripe's customer record, which keeps your email address for tax records.
Your mail, drafts, labels, and calendar events stay in your Google Account.
Remove Enfold in your Google Account
- Go to myaccount.google.com/connections.
- Select Enfold.
- Remove Enfold's access.
This stops Enfold's access to Gmail and Calendar. It does not delete the data Enfold already holds. To delete that data, disconnect the Gmail in Enfold, delete your account, or email us.
